SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Michael Gaffney

Chairman

 
Mick is steeped in the construction industry, since he started working in it 60 years ago. He has worked for companies such as Trollope & Colls and Brims Construction where he quickly worked his way up to managerial positions. Having founded Cosham Plant Hire in 1974, he still spends his days talking to customers and ensuring that his company runs as strongly and smoothly as it did from the time he started it in 1974.

Louis Silk

Managing Director


With responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Cosham Plant Hire, Louis does all the buying and disposals of plant and equipment. He works closely with Mick, and their combined knowledge and experience ensure that the company takes the right decisions to provide the best products and service for customers.

 
 

Ken Newell

Office Manager / Transport Manager

 
Ken joined the company in 2005 as an accounts manager. He now handles the main account customers  and manages the office staff. He is involved in the management of the fleet, and has recently passed his CPC.
 

Charlotte Hyson

Hire Office Co-Ordinator

 
Charlotte runs the hire department. Her duties include organizing of the hires, the operatives, and the delivery schedules for the drivers.
 

Jan Holden-Fisher

Hire Office Adminstrator

 
Invoicing, invoice inquiries, and administration.
